Tori Larett

Tori Larett (she/her) is a supervising clinical attorney and professor at McGeorge School of Law, where she trains the next generation of lawyers in client-centered, trauma-informed advocacy through the Buccola Family Homeless Advocacy Clinic. She also teaches Local Government and Housing Law, bringing a focus on the systemic forces that shape housing instability and homelessness, and teaches in the first-year legal research and writing program, where she emphasizes cultural competency, creative legal analysis, and strong writing foundations as essential tools for effective and equitable advocacy.

Tori’s career has been dedicated to advancing justice for people experiencing homelessness. Before joining McGeorge, she worked with the Homeless Action Center and completed an Equal Justice Works Fellowship at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area.

A graduate of Berkeley Law, she earned Pro Bono Honors with the Highest Distinction and remains an active member of the California Bar. Her scholarship examines the criminalization of homelessness and vehicle residency through the lenses of constitutional doctrine, municipal law, and legal geography.
